in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Thought of the Day:

We don’t often think of ‘kindness’ as being an incomparable richness of grace, yet kindness seems to be a big deal to God.

Jesus told his disciples, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.” The incomparable and immeasurable riches (in depth, and abundance) of God’ grace, which is God’s kindness towards us is shown to us in Christ. We see glimpses of God’s riches in how Jesus responded to people in the margin of society, particularly those who could never repay him.

Action of the Day:

How do I see God’s kindness to me? In what ways can I extent kindness to people around me today? What can I do to slow down from the busyness of daily living so that I can notice the needs of others in my life?

Prayer of the Day:

God of incomparable grace, remind me of your kindness to me today. Let me also share your grace by intentionally being kind to the people who I meet throughout my day.
