Brian’s current book LOVE Theology explores the concept of “Seeing God Through the Lens of Love”, an unorthodox theological approach that centres God’s nature as fundamentally and eternally loving. He challenges conventional interpretations of God’s character, particularly the traditional emphasis on God’s justice, holiness, and wrath, arguing that these attributes are not separate from but rather manifestations of divine love.

The text challenges the belief in original sin and argues for a perspective of original innocence, highlighting God’s unending desire for relationship with humanity. The author encourages readers to re-examine their understanding of scripture, particularly challenging the idea that certain passages mandate actions that seem contradictory to a loving God.
