For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him

Colossians 1:19

Thought of the Day:

It is hard for us to imagine what this means because we have such a strong focus on the weakness of our own humanity, but God sees us differently. God is pleased to be fully present in Jesus, who came to show that we can also experience this fullness.

We are in Christ, so we share God’s indwelling fullness.

Action of the Day:

Look in the mirror today, and say to yourself, “I am in Christ, therefore God’s fullness dwells in me. God is delighted to be fully present in my life.”

Prayer of the Day:

God of fullness, show me your pleasure and delight today. Remind me that you are as pleased to dwell in me as you are to dwell in Jesus. Open my eyes so that I can see you with clarity and truth instead of only seeing my failings and weaknesses.
