Joining the RFP Authors Collective
Resources for Faith and Practice (RFP) welcomes independent Christian authors whose work encourages reflection, learning, spiritual growth and the practical expression of faith.
As a participating author, you can introduce your books and other resources to readers through an author profile, book listings, links to external retailers and, where agreed, the RFP online store for customers in New Zealand. RFP may also provide promotional opportunities through its website, email campaigns and social media.
Participation is free, with no standard membership or listing fees. Authors may make a voluntary koha to support RFP, but this is entirely optional.
Authors retain ownership of their work and remain responsible for its content, publication and accuracy of the information supplied. Participation involves working cooperatively with RFP, respecting the privacy of readers and other authors, and ensuring that all necessary rights and permissions are in place.
For books sold through the RFP online store, the author and RFP will agree on arrangements for pricing, stock, delivery, customer enquiries, returns and refunds, and payment of sales proceeds. Authors receive the price paid for their books (less Credit Card transaction fees), subject to applicable adjustments, while RFP retains the customer-paid freight and handling charge to contribute towards associated costs.
RFP aims to provide a supportive platform for independent Christian authors while maintaining a website consistent with its ministry purpose. Inclusion is subject to suitability and agreement, and participation does not guarantee promotional activity or sales.
Interested in joining? Complete the response form below to introduce yourself and your work. Please also read the full Author Participation Guidelines before submitting your expression of interest.
We look forward to connecting with authors who share our desire to make thoughtful, worthwhile resources accessible to readers.
