Brian Hight is a New Zealand author, publisher and lifelong student of faith, theology and human relationships. His writing is shaped by a desire to explore difficult questions honestly and to make Christian faith thoughtful, practical and relevant to everyday life.

Brian writes across several related fields. His books include Daring Faith, which explores what it means to live with a faith that is willing to ask difficult questions; LOVE Theology, which examines the nature of God through the foundational conviction that God is love; and An Intentional Marriage, which provides practical tools for building stronger relationships. His TAP Into God devotional series, including In Christ Daily and In Lent Daily, encourages readers to turn reflection into practice through Thought, Action and Prayer. His books also include Life Lines, a perpetual journal designed to preserve the story of a life for future generations, and Breaking Out, his first collection of poetry.

Before becoming an author, Brian spent more than four decades working in electronics and technical support, including many years supporting laboratory science and volunteering in marine electronics with Mercy Ships. His technical background has contributed to an analytical approach to faith: he is comfortable exploring the intersection of theology, science, philosophy and everyday experience.

Brian’s writing is characterised by curiosity rather than certainty. He believes that asking better questions can deepen faith rather than diminish it, and that Christian belief should ultimately lead to a life lived with greater love, intentionality and compassion.

He lives in New Zealand with his wife, Sheila.

Mike Wilson is a New Zealand author, Christian leader and lifelong student of faith, theology and the nature of God. His writing is shaped by more than 50 years of faith-based leadership and a desire to help people discover a faith that is intellectually credible, biblically grounded and deeply hopeful.

Mike writes in a practical, down-to-earth style, exploring questions that many Christian leaders are reluctant to address. His writing tackles difficult issues surrounding Christian faith, including suffering and evil, the reliability of the Bible, science and faith, the character of God, hell, judgement, Christian hypocrisy, and the many different expressions of Christianity.

A central theme of Mike’s writing is the conviction that Jesus is the clearest revelation of what God is like. He believes that when difficult questions about God, Scripture or Christian belief arise, we should ultimately return to Jesus and ask what His life, teaching, death and resurrection reveal about the nature of God. This Christ-centred approach shapes much of his writing and ministry.

Mike’s life mission is to help people reach their full God-given potential. Whether through teaching, writing, mentoring or leadership, he is passionate about helping people grow in faith, discover purpose and live lives that make a difference. He believes genuine faith should not simply change what we believe; it should change how we live.

After more than five decades of Christian leadership, Mike continues to ask questions, challenge assumptions and explore what it means to follow Jesus in the real world. His writing reflects a conviction that honest questions do not have to destroy faith. In fact, they can often lead us towards a deeper, more authentic understanding of God.

Mike is married to Jackie, and together they have two adult children and five grandchildren. Jackie has been an important partner and source of encouragement throughout Mike’s life, ministry and writing.

Mike continues to write because he believes the Christian message still has the power to bring hope, meaning and transformation to people’s lives—and that the best place to begin is by taking an honest look at Jesus.
