Where is the Boundary Between Faith and Practice?
There is a liminal space between faith and practice. A place with unclear edges and unknown outcomes. A place where God meets life.
In “The Ragamuffin Gospel” Brennan Manning puts this challenge to us:
Describe the Christ that you have personally encountered on the grounds of your own self. Describe Him as you would to a friend over coffee.
How would you describe Jesus to another friend? Would he be intimate, inspirational, motivational, a companion or something else?
I can’t prove that God exists, and if someone could prove that God doesn’t exist, I would still believe because my faith in God make my a better person.
Is that enough? Today it is.
How does God affect your life?
